teeth, dentalhealth, smile, dentist, oralhealthPrevention is always better than cure and the best way to avoid cavities is to keep gums and teeth in top condition. This involves proper brushing and flossing as well as regular check-ups at the dentist.

What we eat and drink also plays a crucial role in the well-being of teeth and certain items are far better than others. Foods and drinks to be avoided, or kept to a minimum, include:

– Fizzy, sugar-laden drinks

– Sweets and crisps

– Dried raisins and chewy fruit snacks

Plain tap water is the “healthiest drink option” as it contains fluoride and also rinses the oral cavity to keep teeth and gums clean. More tips can be found at https://healthminute.org/2018/11/5-ways-to-keep-your-teeth-cavity-free/
